As Homlux expands, traditional shop lots can no longer accommodate Johor’s largest interior design firm. A factory space is the perfect solution, offering both scale and flexibility for growth and innovation. The design follows minimalism and timelessness, with black as the dominant color, reflecting the team’s preference for sophistication, while bold blue and bright red accents highlight key areas, inspired by Bauhaus principles of form and function. Furniture is slim, black, and masculine, carefully selected to enhance the overall aesthetic. A material palette of concrete, black powder-coated metal, and travertine ensures continuity throughout the space. Each workstation includes an individual table lamp to reduce energy consumption, aligning with ESG goals. With 80% of employees working in the factory building, the high ceiling is optimized with industrial fans and indoor trees, reducing electricity usage by up to 30% while bringing life to the space. We promote an open workspace, encouraging cross-department interaction, blurring boundaries to foster creativity and teamwork. The material library is illuminated by a large membrane light, mimicking natural daylight to ensure precise material selection. A low-maintenance garden surrounds the workspace, reinforcing sustainability and a connection to nature. The Homlux Headquarters is not just an office—it is a statement of innovation, efficiency, and timeless design.
